Tyre Recovery Activity Compliance Scheme (TRACS)
TRACS - is a voluntary compliance scheme for tyre industry operators. It was introduced following the new Waste Management Regulations in January 2008 to monitor the movement of tyres and stop uncontrolled movement of waste tyres. TRACS applies to importers of tyres, garages supplying tyres, waste tyre collectors, retailers and farmers using tyres for slurry pits.
By becoming a member of this scheme companies will fulfil obligations under the Waste Management Regulations, while farmers will retain access to waste tyres. ENVIROCO Management Ltd. provides expertise in applying for TRACS membership while helping registered operators maintain records under the obligations of TRACS membership.
